Apple silicon (arm64), macOS 14 or newer. The PKG is Developer ID signed, notarized and stapled. Intel Macs are not supported.
Mac feature differences and validation notes
Plain picture reference and constant-tempo phrase planning. Standalone is the validated picture workflow. Plug-in movie playback requires CueFrame-specific host/media qualification. No movie audio or VJ effects. The Mac 0.1.4 package includes a persistent 14-day trial; the Windows 0.1.3 package predates trial licensing. Paid activation is not included in these packages.
Before you get started.
What happens after 14 days?
Picture loading/playback and FIT TEMPO require a paid license after the trial. Sessions remain readable, editable and saveable, and plug-in audio/MIDI passthrough continues. Reinstalling does not restart the trial.
Does picture playback work in every DAW?
Standalone is the initial validated picture workflow. Plug-in picture playback needs CueFrame-specific host/media qualification. VST3 follows host time and passes audio/MIDI through.
Does CueFrame generate music?
No. CueFrame provides picture reference, film hits and timing plans. You compose the music and apply tempo in your DAW.
